  Who We Are  
 
  The St. Louis Herb Society (SLHS) is a not-for-profit organization founded as a study group in 1941 for the purpose of educating people in the knowledge and use of herbs. We offer Spring and Fall Adult Education Programs, have a Speakers Bureau , an Herb Sale and have books on herb gardening and herb cooking. Each year we design, plant and maintain the St. Louis Herb Society Herb Garden behind the historical Tower Grove House (Henry Shaw's home) in the Missouri Botanical Garden.
